In 2006 our trip started on May 24 and ended on July 1 2006.

We started in Scotland (1 week), then travelled on to Northern Ireland (0.5 week), Ireland (3.5 weeks) and ended in Wales (0.5 week).

In Scotland we spent our time at Loch Lomond, Fort William and Stranraer.
From Stranraer we travelled to Whitepark Bay on the north coast of Co. Antrim, near Bushmills and the Giant's Causeway.

In Ireland we spent a week in a self catering cottage at Doolin in Co. Clare, near the Cliffs of Moher.
From there we went to Kenmare, Co. Kerry, where we rented another self catering holiday home, for 2 weeks this time.

From Kenmare our journey brought us to Dun Laoghaire for a long weekend in the Dublin area.
After that weekend we went by ferry from Dun Laoghaire in Ireland to Holyhead in Wales, and from there we travelled to Betws-Y-Coed for the last couple of relaxing days before going back home again.
